A good turn out of volunteers helped to weed the Inkerman Road hedgerow that was planted at the beginning of the year. It was found that we had an excellent success rate for the survival of the trees that were planted, a very pleasant surprise for all that were involved in the planting task. Lots of tall thistles and nettles made it a rather painful task though!! On return to Low Barns our die hard vols Nick and Janice started on another task at the centre, not even dozens of nettle stings stop Nick!
